Our panel, led by Dale Russakoff, who left her longtime job as a reporter at the Washington Post in 2008 to become a freelance writer, will consist of:
A public interest lawyer who represented low-income clients in the Bronx, Harlem and London, then chose to become a stay-at-home mom to her two daughters. She has begun to share her passion for social justice with her older daughter, Abigail, now 3, and together they volunteered with IHN for the first time in December. Continue reading →

This past Shabbat, October 20, 2018, we were honored to welcome to Shomrei Paul Boorstin, an award-winning documentary filmmaker and screenwriter whose work has appeared on Discovery, A&E and the History Channel, as well as on NBC, ABC and CBS. A resident of Los Angeles, Paul graduated magna cum laude from Princeton and attended UCLA Graduate School of Film. He has traveled around the world making documentaries for National Geographic, and his screenplays have been produced as motion pictures by Paramount and 20th Century Fox. Continue reading →
On Saturday, October 20 @ Nourish will feature author Paul Boorstin speaking about his book David and the Palestine Woman. This well-researched novel is an engaging story based on the Biblical story of David and Goliath.
