Letters of Support to the French Jewish Community

by Rabbi David Greenstein

The horrific events that have recently taken place in France have been a tragedy of global proportions. We should be acutely aware that the main focus of terror and tragedy has been the French Jewish community. I know that we can do a great mitzvah by sending letters of support and caring to the representatives of the French Jewish community. Please see the attached letter sent by our Federation. It can serve as a model for us.

Letters of support may be sent by email to:

Ariel Goldmann, President, The Fund Social (FSJU): email hidden; JavaScript is required and Roger Cukierman, President, CRIF, email hidden; JavaScript is required.

Rabbi David Greenstein

Rabbi David Greenstein arrived at Shomrei Emunah in August 2009 with a rich, broad and deep background as a rabbi, cantor, artist, scholar, and teacher. Being Shomrei’s rabbi, he says, allows him to draw on all of these passions, as well as his lifelong commitment to building Jewish communities.
