Jenn Harvey, Operations Administrator
Jenn started at Shomrei in January 2024. Originally from Chicago, Jenn grew up in Morris County, NJ, and graduated from UCONN with her BS in Marketing and Communications. After working in Hartford for a year, she returned to the tri-state area to work in the NYC headquarters of a global beauty company. Her background is in PR, media relations, communications, marketing, strategic alliances, and event management.
After the arrival of her 3rd child, Jenn took a step back from the corporate sector to focus on her family and play a more active role in her community. In that time, she coached multiple soccer teams, managed several sports teams, sat on the Board at her children’s elementary school and chaired numerous programs and fundraising events. She thoroughly enjoys volunteering and is currently the Booster Club President of the High School Girls Soccer Program, while also continuing to coach soccer
Jenn and her husband, a native New Yorker, have been married for 22 years and have a son and two daughters.
Our synagogue is the spiritual home of a warm and inviting community of Jews in and around Montclair, New Jersey. We welcome individuals, couples and families of diverse backgrounds and orientations. We observe an egalitarian, vibrant Judaism, balancing openness and traditional practice.
