Shomrei’s MESH Cafe served 20 grateful guests this past Tuesday night. Chef Arden Epstein prepared a delicious Italian supper beginning with tomato bruschetta on garlic toast followed by the main course of cheese ravioli with fresh mushroom tomato sauce and chopped broccoli. Also included was a crisp salad with maple balsamic vinaigrette and crusty Italian bread. Dessert followed with Arden’s homemade magic bars and grapes. Arden always provides a takeaway treat…..chewy granola bars and clementines! Helpers included Shomrei’s own, Amalia Nachman, our fabulous MSU interns, Bonnie and Thalia and our terrific MESH staffer, Adrienne. To sum up, fabulous food, appreciative guests, excellent service and a good time was had by all!
