Amidst weather that felt more like November than June, Shomrei’s MESH Cafe served dinner to seventeen grateful guests, happy to be in a warm and dry place for a couple of hours. The operation ran so smoothly that we are expecting our first Michelin star any day now.
Aileen Grossberg cooked up a healthy feast consisting of kale and vegetable soup, kale salad, baked cod with carrots, sauteed cauliflower, risotto, and rolls. Dessert featured yogurt, fruit salad, and cookies.
Servers and cleaner-uppers included Rachel, Sam, Justin, Ben, Caleb, Sierra Wendeborn, and Bernardo Breziner. Thanks to all for a job well done.
