MESH Report March 26, 2024

Celebrity Chef Joan Zief was at the helm this past Tuesday, ably assisted by a stellar crew of helpers including regular volunteers Lynne Kurzweil, Susan Rosenblatt, Carole Rothman and first time MESH volunteer, Linda Wieseneck.

The task was made even easier with the addition of Shomrei Teens Olyvia and Eva who jumped in to help with packing up those 50 meals.

Our MESH guests were treated to BBQ Chicken drumsticks (there was a sale at Costco so each meal included 3!), Sweet Potato Fries, Ketchup, Cole Slaw, a roll, banana, 2 Hamantaschen, breakfast bar and a water bottle. Lynne and Susan brought the meal bags to The Office where Patricia greeted us with open arms of thanks.

Last week, Olyvia and Eva volunteered at MESH where they helped out in the MESH Store. They plan to go back on a regular basis.
