Thanks to everyone in our community for your overwhelming outpouring of generosity during the Project Isaiah Cereal Drive that we completed last week, at the holidays came to a close.
This morning, a group of us (Linda Ariel, Fern Heinig, Ehud Klinger, Risa Bernstein and Sol Bernstein) packed and delivered the 350+ boxes of cereals to the Human Needs Food Pantry, where the staff was delighted with the bounty of our contribution!!
This is what it means for Shomrei to be a real “Community of Giving”.
Risa is currently serving as the Chairperson of Shomrei's Social Action Committee and on the Board of Trustees.
