Gratitude
We owe a lot of people our thanks! It’s literally been a flurry of activity at Shomrei since the pipe burst and the flood ensued. Once the initial crisis is over, the hard work begins — the restoration. “Thank You” at Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a day for thanks although we Jews often give our thank yous at the New Year, Rosh Hashanah.

Thank You for a Special Kiddush
I would like to thank Marge Wise, for handling my request to sponsor the kiddush on February 1st so expeditiously; Aileen Grossberg, for her expert planning and execution of the wonderful Israeli menu for that kiddush; and all those who assisted with the shopping and preparation for the meal.
Finally, I’d like to thank all those who came to services or the kiddush to share in my special joy. I could not imagine a more satisfying and delightful way to mark my 70th birthday. Thank you all.
