Hinei Mah Tov is our twice-monthly mixed-generation Shabbat Service. Families and friends – adults and children – have pledged to come together in community to explore ways to grow Jewishly, using the Shabbat prayers (in English and Hebrew) as a framework and platform.
We all have so much to gain and so much to give, no matter our age or expertise. Adults help children – their own and others’- to discover the Torah’s goodness and pleasantness. The little ones help the adults to continue to find ways to grow as Jews. Hinei Mah Tov is facilitated by Lily Lucey and by the group members. This intergenerational service is open to everyone – families, singles, young and old – who wish to join in this joyous journey.
Heather feels right at home at Shomrei, having served as the Preschool Director since 2013.With a Masters Degree in Jewish Education, Heather has worked for over 10 years with everyone from toddlers to adults and most enjoys connecting with families and building relationships.Heather lives in West Orange with her husband Seth and their children Dov and Batya, where they can often be found hiking and exploring the great outdoors.
