… And Then There Were Three: Update from Rabbi Search Committee

We wanted to update the congregation on our work and our exciting progress.

The Committee has received some tremendous candidates and as a team have met (virtually) and interviewed each of these candidates with care and professionalism.

We have selected three candidates that all 11 of us are now meeting with as a group for a longer interaction and should those meetings go well, we will invite them for a shabbat weekend in January or February. We cannot yet disclose anything about the candidates, but should they choose to continue on our process we will share their full bios and allow the congregation to meet each during these shabbat visits.

By no means is our search completed. As we receive new applications we continue to meet with candidates. The process continues. That said, we are aggressively pursuing our timelines to recruit an exceptional candidate for this important leadership role.

The committee is super excited about the candidates and our potential finalists and appreciate your continued support as we progress in this process.

  1. Mazel tov, and thank you. I’ve been on academic search committees, so I know how grueling the process is.
    Keep doing God’s work.

What do you think?
