MESH Report June 7, 2022

Chef Fern Heinig whipped up her famous Salmon with Tzatziki, Mediterranean CousCous Salad and Potato Salad, along with a tasty roll, mini cupcakes and a small brownie.  Faithful CoChairs Aileen and Lynne did the packing along with a hand from ever helpful Ehud.  A breakfast bar and water bottle completed the meal.

We have 3 more weeks to go before we break for the summer.  There remains an opening for a cook on 6/28 and helpers for the last two weeks.  Don’t miss this chance to join in on this important mitzvah to feed the hungry.

About MESH:

The Carol Starr MESH Cafe at Shomrei (Montclair Emergency Services for the Homeless) is a cooperative effort between the MESH organization and local synagogues and churches. While in-person service has been discontinued, we are providing hearty, nutritious take-out meals for the hungry. Shomrei’s turn is on Tuesday nights. Please help fulfill this crucial mitzvah by volunteering to help with food preparation or bagging or by making a donation at: shomrei.org/donate.
