MESH Report May 10, 2022

On Tuesday, May 10, the MESH team of Grossberg and Kent served up a bountiful take-away meal thanks in part to the Breslin family , Sid Lichter and the Women’s Seder.

Yesterday’s leftovers, became today’s banquet starting with a cup of tuna salad accompanied by stone ground crackers.

Herbed salmon with horseradish tartar sauce  was the entree with sides of grilled vegetables and chick pea salad on top of a freshly sliced tomato and cucumber. The main course was completed with a crisp spanikopita and hearty rye bread.

A slice of Sid Lichter’s celebratory cake and a spring cupcake was balanced by a serving of fresh fruit salad with sweet watermelon to end the meal.

A breakfast bar and a bottle of water made the meal complete.

We should all eat so well!  Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meal, making the mitzvah of feeding the hungry come alive.
