Defending the Last Abortion Clinic: Inside the Battle for Reproductive Justice in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization
About Aaron Delaney
Aaron Delaney is Counsel at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison where he practices primarily in the area of white collar criminal defense as well as high-profile internal investigations for his clients. He also has an active pro bono practice including in the areas of reproductive justice, exonerations and anti-discrimination. As part of this practice, he represented Mississippi’s last abortion clinic, Jackson Women’s Health Organization – also known as the “Pink House” – for over a decade. This included two trips to the U.S. Supreme Court, culminating in last year’s decision where the Court reversed 50 years of precedent and overruled Roe v. Wade. Aaron will discuss the highs and (many) lows of this most recent case, but will also focus on some of the heroes who have fought, and are still fighting, to ensure access to abortion care in the U.S.
