We are pleased to share that Tal Sagi has joined the Shomrei staff as full time administrator and Assistant Program Director for the JLC , with Marjorie Steffe transitioning from the front office to head teacher of the young 2s during preschool hours.
As a New Jersey native, born in Israel, Tal returns to the Shomrei community after four years living in Providence, Rhode Island where she received her bachelors in Business Administration in 2021. Most recently Tal worked in the mental health field providing clinical aid to youth and teens, and plans to continue this work at Rutgers university Masters of social work program.
In her spare time, Tal enjoys her life-long sport of horseback riding, as well foraging, hiking, maintaining a vegetable garden each year and spending time with her dog.
Tal is excited to be back in the community and is looking forward to making new connections here. Please stop by and introduce yourself to Tal – she will be working in the front office weekdays 9-4, and Marjorie will resume her hours 2-6
