We’re envisioning, we’re dreaming. We’re working hard to explore the core of what we do as a synagogue and make it a more reachable, engaging and inspiring place. Here are some of the initiatives we’ve started to explore. Dream with us! What do we aspire to be as a community?
The New Membership Model
We’re exploring a Sustaining Share Membership Model to make our community more accessible to potential new members and to fundamentally improve the relationship between each of us as common stakeholders of something we all hold dear, our synagogue.
Financial Transparency
How can all stakeholders be appraised on a continuing basis of our financial picture in a clear and timely manner?
Programming and Communications
Our calendar, eblast flyers and ShomreiWeek continue to be reinvented and are evolving. We’re working hard to keep you informed.
Better Organization
We’ve begun to explore ways to organize the office, our internal contact database and even an online membership invoicing system to be more efficient and easier to use for both staff and stakeholders.
It’s an exciting time! Since the Board had its group retreat in October, when we bonded as a working group, we’ve been energized! We hope you’ll dream with us as we search for ways to make some of those dreams reality.
