Sending Messages of Light to Our Brothers & Sisters in Israel

This Hanukkah, when the Jewish people feel alone and in darkness, Shomrei Emunah has the chance to bring light to a community in Eretz Israel (Kehilat Zion) and the families of the kidnapped.

In this time of so much bitter, please add some sweet!

Kehilat Zion, a community of Israeli Jews of all backgrounds, beliefs, customs, and practices with the goal of making Jerusalem the center for all Jews, is an egalitarian community focusing on deepening the connection to the Jewish religion, tradition, and heritage. On the 5th night of Hanukkah, Zion members are going to Tel Aviv to spend the evening with the families of those who have been kidnapped. Shomrei Emunah members can send Hanukkah greetings, drawings, and thoughts to let the Zion community and the family members of the kidnapped know that we stand with them. We hold all of our people in Israel in our hearts and they have our constant support.

From Sham to Po:
In the diaspora dreidels have a Shin to remind us that “A Great Miracle Happened There (sham)” However in Israel the dreidels have a Peh to say that “A Great Miracle Happened Here (po). We are sending our love, support, and messages from there to here…
