Report from Captain Alex Kent:

On a lovely snowy (!) evening, Shomrei hosted 20 MESH guests in the YAC as the upstairs kitchen is undergoing Passover preparations. The meal was pulled together by Lynne Kurzweil with donations from Merrill Silver and Linda Ariel.

Volunteers Sam Selesnick, Noa, and Montclair High Key Club members Caroline, Maggie, and Julian prepared and served a nourishing meal of hummus, pita, and chopped tomatoes, followed by a delicious minestrone soup courtesy of Merrill Silver. The main course was tuna salad on rolls, with a side of baked fusilli prepared by Linda Ariel. Dessert was vanilla ice cream and M&M cookies. Extra dinner rolls were distributed to the guests to take with them. The meal was polished off with gusto and it was a peaceful evening.
