Mesh Cafe Mar 10, 2015

MESH Mar 10 2015Report from Captain Lynne Kurzweil:

We served 20 guests on Tuesday night at the MESH Cafe at Shomrei. The bit more mild weather was a welcome relief for all.

The meal included a starter of hummus, tahini and pretzels followed by a hearty vegetable bean soup prepared by yours truly. Next was Arroz con Pollo (chicken with rice and mixed veggies).  Lynne prepared the main course with chicken donated by Ann Lippel (thank you Ann!).  Rolls and a beautiful fresh vegetable salad with Dijon Maple  Balsamic Vinaigrette accompanied the main course.  Dessert was cupcakes and grapes. Our guests loved the meal, enjoying seconds on soup, salad and main course.

Helpers were Bernardo Breziner, Sierra Wendeborn, Sarah Kravits, Louis and Louis’ friend, Max, Sam, Jesse, Lucas, Paul, Noa and our MSU student this semester, Stacey.

Another successful evening at the MESH Cafe!
